IN HONOR OF MITCH ROSENTHAL
1949 – 2007
The brain injury field and community of people affected by it
have lost a special pioneer and leader, advocate and friend.
Mitch Rosenthal, PhD, ABPP, passed away on May 31, 2007 at the
age of 58 due to complications after cardiac surgery.
Mr. Rosenthal had a career of great achievements in brain injury
rehabilitation. Most recently he served as the Chief Operating
Officer for Kessler Medical Rehabilitation Research and
Education Corporation and Professor Physical Medicine and
Rehabilitation at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of
New Jersey. He was part of the small group of founders of the
National Head Injury Foundation, now known as the Brain Injury
Association of America. The Brain Injury Association of New
Jersey was also honored to have Mitch served on their Board of
Trustees from 2001 to 2004.
